If you were not aware our Jamboree is not only to get us dubber together and have a fantastic weekend but it is also to raise much needed money for local charities. This year we will be supporting two Cornwall charities, Cornwall Search and Rescue Team (Registered no. 1163977) and Children's Hospice South West (Registered Charity No. 1003314)
Since 1995 Children's Hospice South West provide hospice care for children with life-limiting conditions and their whole family across the South West. The care they offer is wide ranging; respite and short breaks, emergency care, palliative care and end of life care. Operating three hospices; Little Bridge House in North Devon, Charlton Farm in North Somerset and Little Harbour in mid Cornwall. Their aim is to provide a home from home, with a relaxed and informal atmosphere, for sick children and their families.
Please do visit the Children's Hospice South West website for more information.
